LinkMe
Our mission

Empowering everyone to own their corner of the web.

We believe a personal website is not a luxury for the few — it is the natural state of being on the web. LinkMe exists to make that real for everyone.

What LinkMe is

A real website, fully yours

Social apps give you a corner of their house. They hand you a profile page with a fixed shape, fixed fonts, and a fixed URL that lives under their domain. You can post, but you cannot build. You can be found, but you cannot be owned — not by you.

LinkMe gives you a website. A real one. Your own URL, your own theme, your own colors, your own sub-pages. A link-in-bio that is also a resume, a portfolio, a blog, a contact hub. A site you can hand to a stranger at a conference without apology.

It is a lightweight, feature-rich platform that gives anyone a dedicated website in minutes — with switchable themes, an independent per-site palette, full content export, privacy-first analytics, and no third-party trackers. Free to start. Yours to keep.

Who it's for

Built for people who make things

Anyone who needs a real home on the open web — not just a profile, but a website.

Designers

Show real work — portfolio, case studies, resume, contact hub — without compromising your visual identity.

Developers

A real URL for your projects, posts, and resume. Open and portable — export your site as data anytime.

Writers

A blog you fully control, with drafts, scheduling, SEO, RSS. No algorithm deciding who sees your words.

Consultants

A professional presence with bookings, services, testimonials, and a contact form that routes to the right channel.

Educators

Courses, products, blog, and a contact hub — your work, your audience, your URL.

Freelancers

One URL for everything — portfolio, resume, booking, contact, newsletter. Hand it to a client without apology.

Milestones

How we got here

From frustration to a real home on the open web — built one layer at a time.

  1. Day zero

    The frustration that started it

We were tired of choosing between a polished social profile we could not control and a hand-coded website we did not have time to maintain. We wanted both — and decided to build it.

  2. Foundation

    Protocol, specs, and stack

We wrote the Core Working Protocol and the Feature Spec first. The non-negotiables — TypeScript strict, parameterized SQL, CSRF, Argon2id, accessibility, no emojis — were set before a single feature shipped.

  3. Identity layer

    Auth, sessions, and per-site slugs

Real email verification, secure session cookies, rate-limited auth, and a dedicated /:slug address for every site. Each user owns one site, fully theirs.

  4. Content layer

    Resume, portfolio, blog, contact

Each module is a first-class citizen — not a bolt-on. Resume with PDF export, portfolio with media galleries, blog with scheduling and SEO, contact with forwarding and spam protection.

  5. Appearance layer

    Themes, palettes, dark mode

Multiple unique themes — distinct visual identities, not color swaps. An independent per-site palette, light and dark. One click re-skins every page.

  6. Today

A real home on the open web

Free to start, yours to keep, exportable anytime. We are still building — visibly, in the open, with the protocol as our root.

Six values

What we stand for

Six values guide every decision we make — from features we ship to trackers we refuse.

Ownership

Your URL, your content, your data. A real website you control — not a corner of someone else’s app.

Privacy

No third-party trackers. No selling data. First-party, cookieless analytics only.

Speed

Static-first rendering with minimal JavaScript. Sub-second loads on cold connections.

Openness

Export your entire site as structured data at any time. No lock-in, ever.

Accessibility

WCAG 2.1 AA built in. Semantic HTML, keyboard nav, reduced motion respected.

Respect

We respect your time and your audience. No dark patterns, no engagement punishment.

The team

Small, focused, building in the open

Real faces and bios will replace these placeholders as the team grows. For now, here is who is behind LinkMe.

Founding engineer

Owns the platform core, the protocol, and the ship cadence. Builds in the open.

Founding designer
